After a successful first phase transforming its “Business for Sale” product, Domain Group partnered with FLO again—this time to rework the backbone of its platform: Core Residential Listings.

The mission? Build a faster, smarter Salesforce Media Cloud foundation to streamline pricing, automate fulfilment, and give teams the flexibility to innovate at scale. With the market shifting and FY26 on the horizon, Domain needed a platform that could power future growth without legacy bottlenecks.

CHALLENGE

Four Bottlenecks Blocking Scale

Core Residential is Domain Group’s flagship product line, but under the surface, the operation was more manual and fragmented than it appeared.

Together, we identified four critical bottlenecks holding the business back:

  1. Slow pricing and product cycles
    Decentralised tools and workflows meant changes took too long to execute—and even longer to align across teams.

  2. Manual fulfilment and provisioning
    Activating listings relied on human input and siloed systems, which introduced delays and inconsistency.

  3. Complex quoting and bundling logic
    Product configurations were hard to manage and scale, slowing sales cycles and limiting agility.

  4. Lack of end-to-end visibility
    With sales, billing, and fulfilment systems disconnected, it was hard to orchestrate the full journey or make confident decisions.

Simply put, the Domain needed to streamline the business fast and establish a single source of truth for pricing.

To do that, they set out to:

  • Simplify and accelerate pricing updates across teams

  • Automate the quote-to-cash journey, from sales to fulfilment

  • Integrate systems end-to-end, including Salesforce (through an integration and automation layer), Zuora and Trade Platform…all fully event-based asynchronous to facilitate scalability

  • Make Salesforce the single source of pricing truth ahead of FY26

Domain didn’t just need automation—they needed orchestration. Every part of the Core Residential journey, from pricing to fulfilment, was reimagined using Salesforce Media Cloud as the central coordination layer. The focus was on speed, accuracy, and long-term scalability.

We started by simplifying the sales journey. Every step from quote to fulfilment was reworked to eliminate delays, cut out manual handoffs, and make life easier for sales teams. Quoting and bundling became faster and more dynamic thanks to scalable CPQ tools and a rationalised product catalogue.

Behind the scenes, provisioning was fully automated. Salesforce now talks seamlessly to platforms like AIM, Zuora, and Domain’s Trade Platform—removing complexity and letting listings go live without friction.

And just as importantly, we didn’t just deliver a system. We enabled the Domain’s internal teams to own it. Through embedded training and knowledge-sharing, Media Cloud became something they could run and scale with confidence.
